Bluedating application

Thanks to Tinder and the slew of mobile dating apps that sprung up since, you can meet new people without ever putting on pants*. Try Hinge, which allows you to meet friends in your social circle.

Created by Tinder co-founder Whitney Wolfe, Bumble is designed to empower women to initiate conversations.

Blue, by Loveflutter, has launched a new version of their existing dating app that only allows Twitter users with that little blue tick to search for love, and only amongst their fellow blue-tick holders.

Hence its name, which refers to the platform's blue tick community. Whereas other dating services can fall prey to bots and catfish, Blue taps into Twitter's verification system to connect you with "real" celebs.

There's just a slight catch: not all verified Twitter users are actually famous.

Enter Loveflutter "Blue," the latest premium app aimed at celebs -- only this new dating service comes with a twist.

The app exclusively caters to verified Twitter users.

Therefore, don't go raising your hopes of snagging Rihanna or Justin Bieber.

For a service targeting Twitter's blue tick collective, it's odd that Loveflutter itself isn't verified on the platform.Despite rolling out in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London and Tokyo, the app won't go live until 1,000 local members are available. There's also nothing prohibiting celebs from just sliding into one another's DMs on Twitter -- like all the other creepy folk on the platform. But which apps should you pursue and which should you delete from your phone? Using your Facebook network, Hinge pairs you with friends of friends to find someone who isn't a Bumble is not only Tinder's less sleazy sister, it's also jam packed with girl power and is perfect for guys who find hitting on girls to be stressful and/or unsuccessful. This is how it works: The app matches up two people using data from Facebook. Each one of them brings two friends to join the date. Happn is an app powered by real life interactions and is location-based.Somewhat similar to Bumble's timeframe, users have but 24 hours to "like" or "pass" before their match expires.
